Over half a century ago those looking for open-top fun in an extremely manoeuvrable and affordable package flocked to British roadsters like this 1965 Sunbeam Tiger Mk I. Stylish, reasonably fast, and with impeccable road dynamics, it's no wonder the few roadsters on the market today were patterned after these classics. This Sunbeam Tiger wears a neat forest green, which is accentuated by a shiny, newly plated chrome trim. He presents himself brilliantly and will grab everyone's attention. Not only are the exterior and interior details correct, the convertible top has also been replaced, so you have extra protection in case something unforeseen occurs. A removable black hard top is even better.

The cockpit has also been restored to excellent condition and features a wooden dashboard which shows that the British knew a thing or two about craftsmanship at the time. All of the factory instruments have been refurbished so you get the look and feel of the original car, but without dead displays. The black vinyl upholstery is new and sound-absorbing Dynamat material has been installed under the fresh carpeting. The factory steering wheel was mounted on a telescopic column for added convenience.

A 260ci V8, which was converted two years ago, serves as the drive for this roadster with driving pleasure. Some modifications have been added such as: B. to the connection adapted 289ci Hi-Po cylinder heads and a Comp Cams 266/283 camshaft. A single Holley four-cylinder carburetor and four-speed manual gearbox are also included. Disc brakes are included in the front and drums in the rear.

The seller is offering a Certificate of Authenticity from the Coventry Transport Museum as well as a 16-page document listing all of the restoration work carried out. Keep in mind that this 1965 Sunbeam Tiger Mk I is currently open for Bring A Trailer offers, but it won't last long.
