2 dead after man jumps from NY building and hits another
Two people are dead after a man appears to have jumped from a building in Yonkers, New York and committed an apparent suicide on Monday, police said.
A 25-year-old man jumped off the roof and fell 12 floors on a parking garage roof, where he met a 61-year-old man, police said, citing preliminary information.
Both men died on the scene, the police said. Your identity was not immediately disclosed.
"The incident appears to be a tragic situation and the investigation is ongoing," said a police statement. "The City of Yonkers and the Yonkers Police Department offer their condolences to the families of the two men."
In April, a 29-year-old woman was killed in San Diego after a man jumped out of a parking garage and hit her, officials said. The man died too.
