4 bold predictions for Bears vs. Jaguars in Week 16
In any case, the Chicago Bears don't need a Christmas Miracle to defeat the Jacksonville Jaguars as they continue their post-season pursuit.
The Bears are winners of two in a row thanks to their revamped offense, which averaged over 31 points per game over the past four weeks. The 1-13 Jaguars are well on their way to becoming number one in the 2021 NFL Draft after the New York Jets won their first game of the season last week.
The bears are slightly preferred to win on Sunday and should be above .500 for the first time since week nine, but how exactly will they get their win? Here are my bold predictions for this week's game.
Allen Robinson goes for more than 100 yards and a touchdown on his return to Jacksonville

By this point, bear fans know that the broad receiver, Allen Robinson, doesn't like to be doubted. How do you think he will feel when he faces the team that let him escape almost three years ago? Robinson had another great season and is the team's top wideout for the second half of the year. He has had 13 goals in two of the Bears in the last four games and faces a defense among the last five. He will try to jump off again. Given that the opponent is the jaguars, it's fair to assume that Robinson will have a huge impact and will make sure Jacksonville knows he is the one who escaped.
David Montgomery is counting another 100 yard game

Is there anyone hotter than running back David Montgomery? The sophomore pro is in tears right now and he has been the focus of the offensive resurgence. Last week, Montgomery ran the Minnesota Vikings for the best 146 yards and two touchdowns. Can he watch it this week against a defense that gives up more than 150 yards per game? I bet he can. The Bears coaching team clearly understand that Montgomery is key to their success at this point and aren't shy about feeding their bluebell back this Sunday. Expect another great day from the tough runner.
Robert Quinn posts another sack
Brace Hemmelgarn-USA TODAY Sports
For the first time in months, Bears defeated a quarterback outside of linebacker Robert Quinn. The veteran pass-rusher had been noticeably absent from the stats sheets in his first season as a bear over the course of the season, but seems to be finally turning a corner after firing Viking quarterback Kirk Cousins last week. Whether he had a foot injury or was simply ineffective, Quinn looked like a different player by week 15. Sometimes it just takes a good game to turn it all around. The Jaguars also approved five sacks against the Baltimore Ravens last week. I know I picked Quinn to click a few times this season, but this time he'll finally be delivering against the Jaguars once his blunder is over.
Roquan Smith takes revenge for his Pro Bowl nudge

Bear fans and even the coaches and players themselves were upset by linebacker Roquan Smith's Pro Bowl nudge. The third year pro tops the league in every statistical category and has proven to be one of the best linebackers in the NFL. But if you miss out on the Pro Bowl honors it can fuel a player's fire. Just ask Star Linebacker Darius Leonard from Indianapolis Colts. Smith has had a tremendous season, but he could go one better on Sunday to show everyone what they were missing out on. He will find a way to not only lead the team in tackles but also to take the ball away. Whether it is an interception or a forced fumble, Smith will ravage the jaguar crime.
