49ers call up Kevin White, place Ziggy Ansah and K’Waun Williams on IR
The 49ers made a number of squad moves ahead of Sunday's game against the Dolphins.
Defensive end Ziggy Ansah and cornerback K'Waun Williams were transferred to the injured reserve. Head coach Kyle Shanahan said both moves would come as Ansah's biceps injury is a season end and Williams will be out several weeks after a knee injury.
The team occupied a squad spot by signing cornerback Jamar Taylor from the training team. They also added cornerback Brian Allen to the active squad for Sunday only. Dontae Johnson and Emmanuel Moseley are also out for Sunday's game so the Niners needed help on the corner.
Broad recipient Kevin White was also added to the list. The selection for the first round in 2015 could be played in a regular season game for the first time since his time with the Bears in 2018.
