Blue Ivy has made history yet again.
The eldest daughter of Beyonce and Jay-Z just became the youngest ever MTV Video Music Awards winner. Although she wasn't there in person, Blue won her award on September 12th in the Best Camera category for Beyoncé's music video "Brown Skin Girl" along with her mother and her musical collaborators Wizkid and SAINt JHN.
Blue, who sings the track's chorus at both the beginning and end of the song, won a Grammy earlier this year for her contribution to the track - making her the second youngest person to ever receive that award.

The song was featured on The Lion King: The Gift, an album Beyoncé released in 2019 that accompanied Disney's remake of the classic film, which hit the box office that same year.
With cameos by Kelly Rowland, Naomi Campbell, Lupita N'yong'o, and others, the anthem is truly a testament to the beauty, strength, and resilience that brown-skinned girls share.
The cameramen who brought the concept to life were Benoit Soler, Malik H. Sayeed, MOHAMMAED ATTA AHMED, Santiago Gonzalez and Ryan Helfant.
Before the music video was uploaded to YouTube in August 2020, the music video was only available to Disney + subscribers as part of Beyoncé's July 2020 project Black Is King.

This year's competition for the best camera category is remarkable and included the visuals for Billie Eilish's “Therefore I Am”, the Foo Fighters “Shame Shame”, Justin Bieber with Chance the Rapper's “Holy”, Lady Gaga's “911” and “Solar Power” from Lorde.
