A 30-year-old British woman, Tara Hanlon, was traveling through London's Heathrow Airport when authorities discovered up to $ 2 million in her suitcases, according to The Sun.
Hanlon was charged with money laundering and could spend up to 14 years behind bars.
The Minister for Compliance with Immigration and the Courts, Chris Philp, described the find as "the largest ever seizure of cash at the border in 2020".

A 30-year-old woman could potentially spend up to 14 years in jail for carrying about £ 2 million in multiple suitcases while traveling through an airport, the Sun reported.
Tara Hanlon was traveling to Dubai via Heathrow Airport in London when authorities discovered the hiding place in her pockets, according to the sun.
"This is the largest cash seizure at the border to date in 2020 and I am delighted with the efforts of the border guards," said Chris Philp, Minister for Compliance with Immigration and Courts, according to the Sun.
"Preventing the UK from exporting undeclared cash is a critical step in curbing organized criminal gangs," added Philp.
When converted to US dollars, Hanlon carried about 2.6 million US dollars.
Hanlon was charged with money laundering, the report said, and will remain in police custody until her trial next month.
