A-Rod shared telling Instagram story 1 day before news of J.Lo breakup
Just a day before the news of his breakup with Jennifer Lopez, Alex Rodriguez shared a video on social media that appears to have anticipated the announcement.
The former baseball pro posted a short clip on his Instagram story on Wednesday that features a photo of him and Lopez, some pictures of their children, and a picture of their names in a heart in the sand.
Under normal circumstances, such a video wouldn't raise eyebrows, but the 45-year-old put the clip on Coldplay's emotional song "Fix You," which led many fans to wonder if the couple had gone their separate ways.

The video has since expired, but the @PopCrave Twitter channel posted a copy of it Thursday, and we can't help but ask ourselves: Was Rodriguez trying to imply that he and Lopez were about to make an important announcement?
On Thursday, the couple announced their breakup in a TODAY exclusive, sharing the following statement: "We have realized that we are better friends and look forward to staying that way. We will continue to work together and each other on our mutual Support business and projects We wish each other and each other's children all the best. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is a thank you to everyone who sent kind words and support. "
Lopez and Rodriguez began their relationship in 2017 and have been engaged for the past two years. Rumors circulated last month that the couple had canceled their engagement, but multiple sources TODAY reported at the time that the two were still together.
"They never officially broke up and talked about it, but are still together," multiple sources said TODAY. "They have reached a difficult phase in which they have been thinking about what to do. They stick together, they are working on things."
The couple even shared the following joint statement TODAY that month: “All reports are inaccurate. We're working on a few things. "
The former couple has been largely silent on social media since their separation was confirmed, but Rodriguez posted the following throwback photo with his two daughters on Thursday.
"Every day I am grateful. For my health, my family, friends and the many blessings in life," he wrote, adding the hashtag #AttitudeOfGratitude.
