Aaron Glee Jr. confesses in deaths of Oluwatoyin Salau and Victoria Sims, documents say
TALLAHASSEE, Florida - Aaron Glee Jr. admitted on several occasions that he kidnapped and killed both Oluwatoyin Salau, a student and protester, and Victoria Sims, a volunteer and retired government worker, in cruel crimes that horrified the community.
According to newly released court documents, Glee waived his right to remain silent and reported to the officials of the Tallahassee Police Department and the Orlando Police Department about the events.
This includes shocking new details, including Glee Salau being held in his dilapidated house for several days, raped her, and finally deciding to kill her so as not to be caught.
The documents also show that Salau (19) and Sims (75) apparently met in the last days of their lives after Glee arranged for Sims to pick him and Salau up at a bus stop.
Salau was missing on June 6th, followed by Sims on June 11th. On June 13, numerous Tallahassee police officers came to his home after tracing Sims' cell phone back to the address. They found Sim's body under a bloody sheet in a bedroom and Salau's body under a stack of leaves in the forest behind the house.
Aaron Glee Jr. was arrested by the Orlando Police Department. Glee is suspected of killing two Tallahassee women.
At that point, Glee had already bought a one-way ticket to West Palm Beach, where he has family members. The Orlando Police Department, who processed information from TPD, intercepted and detained him at a Greyhound bus station.
He complained of breathing problems and was taken to an Orlando hospital where, according to the detention report, he chatted openly about the two murders.

"While he was in the hospital, Glee officials who guarded him voluntarily admitted that he murdered two women in Tallahassee," the report said. "He would also call his mother and take the same pictures."
Later that day, TPD officials arrived in Orlando to interview him.
"Glee would admit in detail that he had kidnapped (Salau) and Sims and murdered Sims at different times," the report said.
Glee told investigators that he started a conversation with Salau on June 6 at a bus stop on Apalachee Parkway. She told him that she had been sexually assaulted earlier in the day - something she publicly revealed on Twitter.
He offered to take her home to bathe and sleep. He said he called Sims, who both picked them up in their white Toyota sedan.
Video footage from StarMetro buses shows that at 5:51 p.m. Salau left a branch library in Leon County on South Adams Street. and arrived at the bus stop on Apalachee Parkway at 6:07 p.m.
"This footage also showed that she and Glee were talking extensively on a bench at the bus stop," the report said. "Around 7:07 p.m., a white Toyota, the same brand and model as Sims, arrived at the bus stop area. Glee and (Salau) left the Toyota a moment later."
Glee told the investigators that Salau had showered in his house when he arrived. He tried to have sex with her, but she said no and tried to ward him off.
"He explained that she physically opposed him and bit his right forearm during the fight," the report said.
But Glee overwhelmed her.
"He was asked if he would call his actions rape," the report said. "Glee said yes."
Glee said he tied Salau for three to five days and locked him in his house, but was not sure exactly how long because "he was heavily influenced by alcohol."
However, he said he sometimes released her to eat and bathe. He admitted "having sexually assaulted her several times in those three to five days."
Glee, who has a decade-long prison record, feared that if he let her go, he would end up behind bars again.
"Glee stated that if he allowed (Salau) to leave the residence, he knew he would be arrested and likely to be sentenced to prison," the arrest report said. "Glee stated that he found that his only course of action was to end her life."
He tied her with a rope in a way he thought would die and left her in a bedroom.
"Glee explained how he would enter the bedroom several times over the course of several hours to see if (Salau) was still alive," the report said. "Ultimately, he entered the bedroom and found that (she) had died."
According to police reports, Sims was also bound. Investigators believe Glee searched her home on Blair Stone Road, stole her car, and kidnapped her. Her car was found in the mud in front of his house.
Glee was arrested in Orlando but brought to Tallahassee, where he faces two murder and kidnapping charges and one sexual assault charge. He had his first appearance in court on Saturday via video conference.
Chief Circuit Judge Jonathan Sjostrom ordered Glee to be held on bail at the request of Deputy Prosecutor Callaway Scott, who described him as "a danger to society."
Glee, wearing an orange and white jumpsuit, did not speak during the brief hearing. His Miami lawyer, Mauricio Padilla, advised him not to discuss the case with anyone.
Sjostrom agreed with Scott, noting that Glee was a flight risk as he unsuccessfully tried to escape on a bus.
"There are no conditions that can adequately protect the public, no conditions that could ensure the future appearance of Mr. Glee," said Sjostrom. "The probable cause itself shows the possibility of a significant flight."
