American Pickers ' Danielle Colby Speaks Out amid Mike Wolfe's Strained Relationship with Frank Fritz

American Pickers star Danielle Colby stands next to her boyfriend Mike Wolfe.
Colby broke her silence on Monday after Wolfe's former co-host Frank Fritz claimed he had a strained relationship with Wolfe and hadn't spoken to him for two years.
“Back on the road with my best friend and my big brother, for whom I fully and completely stand and for whom I stand,” Colby captioned an Instagram selfie of her and Wolfe. "Thank you for the last decade of advocacy for me and others on the set. I am proud of how you have done the past 12 years and look forward to many more years as you roll around that big blue marble together."
She added that she was "really sad" about Fritz's departure from American Pickers and "incredibly sad about his struggles".
“I've looked at everything personally for the past ten years. I have a lot of thoughts, but I won't say them because they are just my thoughts, not the gospel, ”she continued. “I wish things could have been different, but we must be responsible for our actions as we cause instability or pain and suffering to others. Frank inflicted so much pain on himself that it was hard to watch. I really hope Frank gets all the help he needs to get well after years of being unwell. "
Representatives from Fritz, Wolfe, and American Pickers did not respond to PEOPLE's requests for comment.

Colby said she decided to speak now because her feelings were previously speculated and "taken out of context".
"That's how I feel," she concluded. “I hope everyone is fine.
Fritz, 55, told The Sun last month that he left American Pickers and was no longer in contact with Wolfe. A representative from The History Channel confirmed Fritz's departure from PEOPLE.
The reality series History Channel, which premiered in 2010, follows Wolfe and Fritz on their journey through the country and "makes a living by restoring forgotten relics to their former glory and turning one person's trash into another's treasure," so

"I haven't spoken to Mike in two years," said Fritz. "He knew my back was upset, but he didn't call me and ask how I was doing. It's just that."
Regarding the future of the show, Fritz said it was "hard" "to start the show after not talking to anyone for two years".
"You couldn't just put two people in a van and get the chemistry you get from me and Mike," he said. "We've known each other for about 40 years. We can finish each other's sentences."

In a previous statement shared with PEOPLE, Wolfe, 57, said he will miss his former co-host.
"I've known Frank for as long as I can remember, he was like a brother to me," he said in his statement. "The journey that Frank, Dani (Danielle) and I began in 2009 brought with it, like all of life, its ups and downs, blessings and challenges, but it was also the most rewarding. I will miss Frank, as do all of you, and I pray for the very best and all the best for him on the next part of his journey. "
