An emotional Terry Bradshaw breaks silence with Ben Roethlisberger
For the 17 seasons Ben Roethlisberger was the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback, former Steelers quarterback Terry Bradshaw had not spoken to him directly.
As a longtime soccer analyst, Bradshaw said everything he needed to know about Ben behind the desk at FOX NFL or the media. The 4-time Super Bowl champion was at times very critical of Roethlisberger.
Terry recently had the chance to sit down with Big Ben to interview him for the first time.
It was a lighthearted interview that started with Bradshaw asking Ben how he was feeling. "Old!" Roethlisberger answered.
The two quarterbacks discussed injuries, the current state of the Steelers, and Ben's love for the game.
After the segment ended, Bradshaw got a little emotional talking about the interview with his colleagues at FOX NFL. The former Steelers quarterback admitted he was scared and nervous about speaking to Big Ben.
“We didn't have a good relationship. We weren't in a relationship, ”said Bradshaw. “Talking to him for a long time certainly helped me - and I believe him - to get closer together. Where, when I see him in Pittsburgh now, can we hug and hug because we're two quarterbacks who played for the Steelers. "
"It's not just good for me; it's good for him, it's good for the Steelers organization, the city of Pittsburgh," Bradshaw added. "It means a lot to me, so I appreciate Ben."
Pittsburgh Steelers are 4-0 for the first time in four decades
