An official Star Wars map has been revealed – but features one glaring omission

A new Star Wars map offers an official look at this distant galaxy. However, as eagle eye fans have already noticed, there is a blatant omission: Exegol.
The Sith Planet appeared in Star Wars: The Rise of the Skywalker and was the home of the late Emperor Palpatine. However, the location of Exegol was previously unknown to the majority of the galaxy, and the new Star Wars map will appear in the upcoming book Star Wars Galaxy's Edge: Travel Guide.

Galaxy's Edge is the name of the Disney Park ride that takes place in the Star Wars canon between Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Rise of Skywalker. Because of this, Exegol may not appear in the book.
Here's the full map, which contains a number of planets that you've probably never heard of. In other related Star Wars news, some recent conceptual drawings of Emperor Palpatine in The Rise of Skywalker have been revealed by production designer Kevin Jenkins.
"At the very beginning of production, I developed designs for Palpatine's return," he wrote on Twitter. "Because of the secrecy at the time and because I was locked up in my own dark office, let me go once a week to review designs with JJ. This pencil sketch is from the first series."
