Campbell Scott joined the cast of Jurassic World 3: Dominion as a key character from the original film.
Scott will play Lewis Dodgson, the mysterious Jurassic Park man who gives Dennis Nedry the fake can of Barbasol to store the stolen dinosaur embryos, Collider reports. The stranger in a red shirt asked us countless questions all these years ago, and it looks like we can finally get some answers. In the upcoming Jurassic World: Dominion is Lewis Dodgson the CEO of Biosyn Genetics - and if that doesn't sound like a bad company, what then?
At the end of the last Jurassic World film, Fallen Kingdom, Dr. Henry Wu evacuated his laboratory with the dinosaur eggs and embryos after the living dinosaurs trade went terribly wrong. Maybe he brought these samples straight to Biosyn Genetics. We now also know that Laura Dern, Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum are all back in their original roles in the new film, so Dodgson's return could be the catalyst for their reunification.
Jurassic World 3 producer Frank Marshall said Dominion was "... the beginning of a new era" and added that "the dinosaurs are with us on the mainland now and hopefully will be for some time to come." ""
Colin Trevorrow returns to Jurassic World: Dominion, which also brings Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard back as Owen and Claire. Other familiar faces include BD Wong, Justice Smith and Daniella Pineda, and new faces in the form of Mamoudou Athie, DeWansa Wise and Dichen Lachman. The dinosaurs are expected to return to screens on June 21, 2021. In the meantime, check out the best new Netflix movies and shows to be seen this weekend.
