Anna Kendrick would like everyone to relax about her calling Twilight filming “miserable”

We're not sure if you noticed, but the Twilight franchise is experiencing a renaissance. Maybe it's because author Stephanie Meyer has announced that her new Twilight book, Midnight Sun, will finally be released this summer. Or maybe it's because nostalgia has finally started after the first Twilight film was released in cinemas over a decade ago. Whatever it is, 2020 was full of Twilight insignia and poor Anna Kendrick was badly involved.
Kendrick played Bella's (Kristen Stewart) girlfriend Jessica on the series and in an interview with Vanity Fair on June 10, she remembers how she shot Twilight in the "miserable" weather of Portland, Oregon. Unfortunately, the term "miserable" was taken out of context almost immediately.
"I just remember that my Converse was soaked and had the feeling, 'You know, that's a really great group of people, and I'm sure we would be friends at a different time, but I want everyone Kendrick joked after remembering the wet weather as "cold and miserable."
Kendrick immediately noticed that the experience "was also a kind of bond".
"There was something that looked like you were going through a trauma event ... and you are connected for life," she continued, jokingly comparing the experience to a "hostage situation".
The cast became better known when the filming of Twilight: New Moon was going on. But the Internet got stuck in the whole matter of "miserable" and "hostage situation" as the Internet is used to.
anna kendrick really compared filming twilight to being a hostage uh, why does the whole cast hate the whole franchis

Many began to compare Kendrick's apparent reluctance to participate in the Twilight franchise to the series of Robert Pattinson interviews in which he pretty much throws the series into the trash (but in a funny way).
Anna Kendrick really said that filming the twilight was like a hostage scenario.

It's funny how Robert Pattinson is praised for being Twilight crappy and ungrateful, but Anna Kendrick is taken out of context and dragged on if she hasn't even said anything negative about the franchise

The tweets became so loud that Kendrick had to intervene to turn things off.
"Oh. I thought we stopped this" actress makes a stupid joke about the cold weather, but we still make clickbait "like 2014," she tweeted on June 10th. "U okay hun?"

When people started to actually see the interview, the realization sank that they had focused on their words too quickly.
If you're really trying to cancel Anna Kendrick because she said the weather in PORTLAND OREGON is terrible by joking ... literally look at her Twitter, which is just her humor

Clearly, people who make it difficult for Anna Kendrick to compare a hostage to filming in Portland, Oregon have never been to Portland-Fucking-Oregon.
