Another Los Angeles-Area Nordstrom Hit By Multiple Looters In Flash Mob-Style Robbery Wednesday Night
Another consecutive robbery on a north stream in the Los Angeles area occurred tonight. The store at Westfield Topanga & The Village in Canoga Park was hit around 7 p.m.
A group of at least five men, one of whom wore an orange wig, entered the store and stole seven or eight purses before escaping the scene and jumping into a newer gray Ford Mustang that was spinning away from the scene, according to reports from ABC7 and KCAL9.

A guard was sprayed with pepper spray during the robbery and taken to hospital for treatment, but further details were not immediately known.
The robbery came two days after a similar group attack by a mob of at least 20 people in the Nordstrom store in the Grove. The suspects fled the scene in at least four vehicles. Three were arrested in southern Los Angeles after a car chase. The officers seized several items of clothing, at least one cash register, and gloves from her vehicle.
The incidents follow a similar mass heist on Saturday at a Nordstrom store in the San Francisco area that allegedly involved 80 people. In addition, there were a number of incidents in Union Square in San Francisco on Friday night. Among the companies that were hit, according to S.F. Police Chief Bill Scott via CNN.
Also early Sunday morning, the windows of Louis Vuitton and Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills were broken, according to the Times, which reported that "several suspects were in multiple vehicles and that they" got down on the places and used a sledgehammer. Around 9:45 p.m. Monday, six suspects entered a CVS pharmacy on the 5800 block of South Vermont Avenue in South L.A. and stole three cash registers, taking about $ 8,500 in cash, according to Los Angeles Police Officer Drake Madison. It was unclear if the same suspects later targeted the Grove.
