Anya Taylor-Joy rocked a ruby red monochromatic outfit while promoting The Menu in New York City, inspiring us to swap our all-black looks for scarlet this holiday season!
The Golden Globe winner, 26, was snapped by paparazzi while flaunting her curves in a plunging lace mini dress with a matching shiny red coat, sheer tights and classic, glamorous pumps, all the same crimson. The Emma star's outfit was designed by Magda Butrym, and she wore this stunning look for a Good Morning America appearance.
Anya Taylor-Joy proves red is her color in a sultry lace mini dress, tights and coat
For the event, Taylor-Joy wore her signature ice-blonde tresses loose, center-parted and styled straight. The Queen's Gambit actress also added black liner, voluminous lashes, rosy blush on her high cheekbones and a glossy pink lip to pull it all together. Her standout gown featured a plunging neckline, floral lace detailing, a sultry, thigh-length hemline, and an overall fit that helped accentuate her small waist and long, toned legs.
This fiery look is one of many striking outfits the style icon recently sported while celebrating her latest project, The Menu. The new movie is being described as a black comedy horror film (and we know Taylor-Joy is no stranger to horror, having starred in hit films like The Witch and Split). The film was directed by Mark Mylod (known for his work on popular TV series like Game of Thrones and Shameless).

Taylor-Joy's latest horror film The Menu
In addition to Taylor-Joy, The Menu also stars Nicholas Hoult, Ralph Fiennes, Judith Light and John Leguizamo. The film debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2022 and was released in US theaters on November 18.
In The Menu, Taylor-Joy stars as Margot, a young woman who travels with her boyfriend (played by Hoult) to a remote island to dine at Hawthorne, an exclusive restaurant run by celebrity chef Julian Slowik (played by Fiennes ) to be led. The plot revolves around Slowik, who prepares a sumptuous menu of molecular gastronomy for his guests, with the food being considered conceptual art. However, Slowik's approach to cuisine has some stunning surprises in store for the wealthy diners. (We are excited!)
