Apple iPhone 12 Launch: 5G Smartphone Pricing, Specs Purportedly Leak Out

Apple is slated to unveil the iPhone 12 next week, but details allegedly spilling the beans on the tech giant's upcoming 5G phones have leaked out on social media.
A user of China's Weibo with the handle "Kang" released information on Friday allegedly showing prices and specifications for four new Apple smartphones - the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPhone 12 Mini - as well A New Cheaper HomePod Unveil Mini Smart Speakers As Spotted By MacRumors.
The caveat: the information is unconfirmed and may not fully align with what Apple announced at the launch event scheduled for October 13th. It's not clear how Kang got the details. According to AppleTrack, anyone who is Kang has a good track record of predicting Apple announcements, including in-depth coverage of several of the company's announcements from this year's WWDC and the new iPad Air model that will be at its September 15th event was announced.
According to Kang's contribution, each of the new iPhone 12s will support the 5G wireless standard and feature Apple's Super Retina XDR display and the Dolby Vision HDR standard. Other alleged details:
iPhone 12: Starting at $ 799, the base model has a 6.1-inch screen and 64 to 256 GB of storage. Available in black, white, red, blue and green; Dispatched October 23rd or 24th.
iPhone 12 Pro: Starting at $ 999, also comes with a 6.1-inch screen, available in gold, silver, graphite, and blue, with storage from 128GB to 512GB. Shipping either October 23rd or 24th.
iPhone 12 Pro Max: Starting at $ 1,099, the 6.7-inch screen model comes in the same colors and storage options as the Pro model. Shipping November 20th or 21st.
iPhone 12 mini: Starting at $ 699 for a 5.4-inch display model; Available in the same colors and storage options as iPhone 12. Shipping November 13th or 14th.
In addition to the iPhone 12 range, Apple will introduce new MagSafe wireless chargers, according to Kang's post. According to MacRumors, these work with a new iPhone case that supports wireless charging. Also announced is the HomePod mini, a 3.3-inch smart speaker priced at $ 99 (up from $ 299 currently for the regular HomePod). this is said to be sent on November 16th or 17th.
