Ariana Grande’s Engagement Ring May Have a Hidden Meaning
Anyone with access to Twitter or Instagram probably knows that Ariana Grande has announced her engagement to real estate agent Dalton Gomez. However, you may not have noticed the cute, hidden meaning behind their Instagram caption ... and the ring itself!
"Forever and much more," Grande labeled her engagement post on Sunday, December 20, along with pictures of snuggled up with Gomez. She also posted some footage of her oval diamond and white pearl engagement ring.
What is the hidden message in it you ask? In 2018, the pop star Positions took another photo with the same caption. "Forever and more," she tweeted alongside a photo of her late grandfather Frank Grande and grandmother Marjorie Grande. Sorry - I just need to blot a few tears off.
Even the ode to her grandparents may not end here. As Elle pointed out, after Frank Grande's death in 2014, her grandmother gave her a bespoke pearl ring made from one of his tie pins. “Nonna had a ring made for me with the pearl from grandpa's tie pin. She says he told her in a dream that it would protect me. <3 ", Ari tweeted in October this year.
Is it possible that this is the same pearl depicted on Ariana Grande's engagement ring? Here's a closer look:

Whether or not this is a direct reference to her grandfather, we already know that the engagement bears her mother's stamp of approval. “I am very happy to have Dalton Gomez in our family! Ariana, I love you and Dalton so much !!!! To a happy life! YAY! xoxoxo, ”tweeted Joan Grande.
“They couldn't be happier, they are just so excited. This is a happy time for her, both parents are delighted, ”a source told People. Grande and Gomez have been together for just under a year and have kept their relationship pretty quiet. The couple didn't go Instagram official until June after being revealed in Grande and Justin Bieber's "Stuck With U" music video.
