Ashley Cain and Safiyya Vorajee's Family Gets Matching Diamond Tattoos in Memory of Baby Azaylia

Ashley Cain and Safiyya Vorajee honor the memory of their little girl.
On Monday, 30-year-old alum The Challenge shared a photo of the wrists of some family members with new matching tattoos in honor of his and Vorajee's daughter Azaylia Diamond, who died on April 24 at the age of 8 months after battling a rare form of leukemia. The tattoos had the girl's full name with a diamond underneath.
"I love you. Azaylia Diamond Cain?" Cain captioned the Instagram post showing the tattoo tribute. On her Instagram story, Vorajee took another look at the tattoos, writing, "Some of the girls in the family have just been inked in memory of my little girl Azaylia Diamond Cain."
In mid-April, Vorajee talked about wanting to remember her daughter with a tattoo, including possibly one of Azaylia's hand and footprints, "so that I could always have her that close."

Cain and Vorajee first shared news of Azaylia's leukemia diagnosis in October, revealing that their then two-month-old baby had a "very rare and aggressive form" of cancer. Then, in February, the family was "urgently informed that Azaylia's leukemia had returned" just before leaving the hospital after a stem cell transplant. Azaylia died on April 24th.
Vorajee posted an emotional message on her Instagram story earlier this month describing her time without her daughter as a "struggle through day and night" and saying her days felt "empty" without Azaylia.

"When the journey I was on was mentally difficult, I didn't know it was going to get any more difficult," wrote Vorajee. "Caring for my baby in hospital from 8 weeks was not the way I expected to be a mom. But I counted every day as a blessing that I am Azaylia's mom and would give her 100% every day! I studied everyone Part of her diagnosis I learned all of her medicine because I wouldn't have done less for my baby. "
"I'm mentally struggling to lose my baby. My days feel so empty. My life feels so lost. My body feels so alone. But my soul feels so full, my spiritual alert feels more That's because Azaylia gave me a reason to connect with life in such a different way, "she continued.
"I fight every day but from every day I get a new vision, Azaylia greeted me with a beautiful smile every day. I will find a new way to live someday and I will keep your name alive, Azaylia, "she concluded.
