AT&T stock drops toward 11-year low, as dividend yield rises further above 8%

AT&T Inc. shares fell 0.6% in afternoon trading on Wednesday, setting them on their longest losing streak in a year and their lowest closing price since July 2010. The stock has lost 7.5% in the last six sessions, which would be the longest losing streak since the nine-day losing streak that ended October 21, 2020. The sell-off raised AT & T's implicit dividend yield to 8.23%, making it the stock with the second-highest yield in the S 500, just below colleagues
