Admit it: Part of you isn't so secretly hoping that Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson will get back together. I get it! They were incredibly cute! But unfortunately a reunion for these two is "not in sight".
"It was an amicable split. They had briefly discussed ending their relationship. It wasn't sudden," a source told People in the days after the relationship. "And it was a joint decision. Getting back together is currently not in sight.”
The source added that the breakup wasn't sudden (which another source also confirmed to Us Weekly, as the sources are really working overtime right now): "They've definitely slowed down. Things got hot in the beginning being able to travel back and forth to see and spend time with Kim, but his schedule has gotten so busy. However, Pete is still very depressed about the breakup. They hit it off really well and had a lot of fun together, but it feels like it's taken its course."
Fans of Pete and Kim will probably still be able to see a bunch of their relationship in The Kardashians season 2 (unless Hulu decides to do a post-edit... tbd), at least based on the trailer, which implied that it literally all dropped his stuff to take a shower with her.
Kim also opened up about how they bonded after Saturday Night Live on season one of The Kardashians, saying, "I texted him. I didn't even think, like, oh my god, I'm going to be in a relationship with him. I was just like, 'Heard about this BDE, gotta get out of there, gotta get my...I was basically just DTF.'
