Avengers: Endgame deleted scene has fans theorising about Thanos' possible return

Avengers: Endgame has been in the market for over a year and Marvel fans are still developing theories about the highest-grossing movie of all time. This concerns the big evil Thanos and the possibility that the Titan is actually ... still alive!
Let's rewind something. The scene that led to this theory becoming widespread - recently by The Independent - is a scene deleted from Avengers: Endgame (available on Disney Plus), in which The Hulk has an in-depth conversation with Tilda Swinton's Ancient One.
"If someone dies, they will always die. Death is irreversible," says Old Hulk in an exposure dump about alternative schedules. It relates to how non-snap deaths cause people to perish, which is why Black Widow does not return after sacrificing herself for the soul stone.
"[But] those you lost are not gone," continues the old man. Instead of killing half of the population of the universe with the snap, Thanos instead took them out of life and made their resurrection possible. And as everyone knows who has seen Avengers: Endgame, our snapped heroes have been brought back to save the day.
Well, that all seems well and good, but we should also point out that Iron Man snatched his army away with the Infinity Stones to defeat Thanos. According to the logic of the old man, the crazy titan's thugs were actually only wanted and not killed. And ... you can see where we're going with this: what if Thanos is still out there and could return if somehow he is brought back to life? Could we seem that the purple piece is coming back with all its might?
While Marvel hasn't been afraid to bring back bad guys - see Red Skull in Infinity War and Endgame - it seems unlikely to bring Thanos back anytime. Yes, the villain has ties to the Eternal, but we probably won't see him again as the primary villain. But maybe it could be pretty fun to have Thanos as peasants when the next big evil is even more powerful. After all, the superheroes of the MCU are becoming more powerful - now they need an ultimate culprit that suits them.
