Ashely Iaconetti, Serene Russel and Serena Pitt shared what they're looking for in a swimsuit they'll wear all day on camera.

Hanging out on the beach in swimsuits all day for 10 weeks and being filmed for national TV, these Bachelor In Paradise stars have some key swimwear insights to share.
We spoke to three BIP stars, Serena Pitt, Serene Russel and Ashley Iaconetti, who have all found love during their respective seasons of the show, about all things bikini.
Serena Pitt, 25, just married Joe Amabile last month after living together in New York for a year. The lovebirds met last summer on the seventh season of Bachelor in Paradise, and Grocery Store Joe took a knee in the final episode.
Serene Russel, 27, got engaged this summer but broke the news to the world in the final episode of Season 8 last night. During the "Tell All" live segment, she and fiancé Brandon Jones announced that they decided to turn down the opportunity to get married right after the proposal on the beach because they wanted their family to attend the ceremony.
Ashley Iaconetti, 34, and her husband Jared Haibon met years ago on Seasons 2 and 3 of Bachelor In Paradise. And while they had a tumultuous start to their love story, they've been going strong since their engagement in June 2018 (on the beach) and their wedding in August 2019. In January 2022, they welcomed their first son, Dawson.

What are you looking for in a bikini to wear all day in paradise and get filmed in?
Pitt: "COMFORT! I definitely wanted to look cute at the beach, but knowing that I would need to be in these swimsuits all day long, rain or shine, pool or beach, I definitely wanted to make a fashionable yet practical choice! I usually focused on what fit me well and had comfortable material. I also always paired my bikini with either shorts or a wrap to avoid black [censored] boxes on TV!”
Russel: “I think the most important thing is the structure. We have to wear microphone pacs so the suit has to carry it comfortably. I also love fun colors and prints—anything made out of stretchy, comfortable fabric.”
Iaconetti: “I usually like cords because that way the fabric doesn't cut into the curve and we don't get indentations; make the body look like it really is. I also like the coverage on the bum and I like a cup bikini just to give that area a little pizzazz.”
Favorite brands and why?
Pitt: "My favorite bikini brands change every year. I feel like every summer new brands keep coming out and catching my attention. Some of my favorites though are TRIANGL and Vitamin A. I just got a full piece of Revolve by Beach Riot this summer which I love.”
Russel: "I've worn a lot of JMP and Beach Bunny to the beach, but I'll wear literally any swimsuit as long as it's cute and durable. I have a collection of over 80 bikinis from multiple brands!”
Iaconetti: “I've been a big fan of Beach Bunny for a while, especially in Paradise because the colors are really bright. They are tropical and totally different from any other you will see at the mall. When I was on Paradise I also really liked a Becca Swim, it was just really well lined and had great cups.”
Favorite Bikini Styles and Why?
Pitt: "My two favorites are probably a triangle top and a bandeau. I love the adjustable nature of a triangle top to fit your body type and I always need a great bandeau option to avoid those tan lines! I also tend to prefer a sports bra cut when doing water sports so I can avoid wardrobe dysfunction.”
Russel: “I love the typical triangle bikini with stringy tie panties! I think it's the most flattering for me because it's most adjustable to my body type. I go for a balconette shape when I need more protection and support for an activity or something!”
Iaconetti: "I'd say I'm definitely going to stick with the thong and then in an ideal world it would be cups with padding - I'm not interested in showing the nipple. I like a little pillow there.”
Have your choices/favorites changed since you've been on Bachelor in Paradise?
Pitt: Not really! I would say after wearing bikinis every day I became more interested in finding different ways to accessorize them with body chains, fishnet bottoms, cool sandals etc.”
Russel: “I definitely prefer a lighter material that doesn't feel as bulky when sitting - my favorite bikini in paradise was a metallic green set and it felt like there was nothing there! That's important when you wear it all day!”
Iaconetti: “Maybe since I became a mother. My style hasn't really changed, but maybe more high waisted. It's not my favorite bikini, but it's beautiful. It's got that Ally von The Notebook vibe - I think it's a more romantic suit. And you know, they're always nice because you can eat a little bit more in them. And my skin on my stomach isn't as tight as it used to be. So it's nice to just feel secured and sucked in like it's a corset.”
