Bachelorette 's JoJo Fletcher & Jordan Rodgers Celebrate What Would Have Been Their Wedding Day
JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers may have had to postpone their wedding, but they still celebrate what would have been their special day.
Although the couple, who got engaged to The Bachelorette's Fletchers season in 2016, were originally supposed to walk down the aisle on Saturday because of the coronavirus pandemic, they had to postpone their wedding until 2021.
"6.13.20 ... Happier" What would have been our wedding anniversary "for us!" The 29-year-old Fletcher wrote next to a photo of the couple cuddling up.

"As you know, we have spent the past 11 months planning the wedding of our dreams, but given the circumstances of 2020, we had to make the difficult decision to postpone our special day," she wrote. "Even if I can't marry you today @ jrodgers11, I know that it's worth the wait."
Without giving too much an indication of when they will be walking down the aisle next year, she added, "2021, we really can't wait for you to be waiting for you."

In March, the couple previously announced that they had waited until the last minute to decide what to do.
“Today our wedding planner actually called me and said, 'Hey, where's your head with everything? 'And I said,' Well, we're good. We will only wait until the last minute to see if we need to set a new date. 'And she said to us: "Listen totally, but the problem with this is that your venue is now fully booked by 2021," said Fletcher as the couple called Chris Harrison and girlfriend Lauren Zima's Instagram series called Group Date according to Entertainment Tonight.
"We would never sacrifice this day to hurry up and get it done, so if it can't happen the way we want, we will if we can," she said, while Rodgers continued to joke, "It is four years have passed, so what's another year? "
The two took the time to get to know each other after the show and to celebrate their four-year engagement anniversary in May.
"Yesterday it was 4 years with you @ jrodgers11," Fletcher wrote in a cute Instagram tribute at the time. "You make me laugh, love me endlessly, encourage me to be brave, and you're always my greatest cheerleader."
"I can't wait to see what the rest of our lives have in store for us," she added.
Even though Rodgers had already dropped to one knee, he suggested a new ring last summer as they searched for wedding venues.
"The show brought us together and prepared us for a really amazing proposal the first time, but this time it was all YOU," Fletcher signed a photo of the Cash Pad stars after the sweet moment in August. "And that means everything to me and more. I can't wait to marry you! Thank you for loving me so pure and protecting my heart in a way I've always prayed for."
