Bebe Rexha On Lingerie, Self Love & Celebrating Bodies At Every Size

ICYMI, Bebe Rexha and Adore Me released a capsule collection earlier this summer and I couldn't stop thinking about it. And when I say “capsule collection,” I'm talking about three different drops, the first of which debuted in June and the last of which came on the page on July 1st. Part three is coming soon, so STYLECASTER has caught up with the Grammy-nominated singer to chat about body positivity, her summer style and how sexy she feels in everything she wears. And of course her favorite must-shop items too!
Rexha's two collections so far contain some of the hottest (and size-inclusive!) Lingerie I've ever seen. Adore Me is unmatched when it comes to bringing girls affordable bodysuits, bras and underwear with guaranteed high quality fit, but their line-up with Rexha takes it to an entirely different level - so yes, you'll want every single piece.
Before working with the brand, it was something that got the In The Name of Love singer to see different body types on Adore Me's website that wanted to work with them in the first place. "Listen, for me everything revolves around body love and the love for your body, I am really very interested in spreading that," says Rexha to STYLECASTER. "It has been a journey for me to learn to love myself and to accept myself and the body I'm in. I really believe that people of all shapes and sizes deserve to feel sexy."

When it comes to Rexha's favorite pieces in the collection, she wastes no time naming some of the hottest. She highlights the Axelle Contour Corset as one of the pieces she wears the most - but don't think she's wearing it on her own! As a self-proclaimed fan of "Rock-Sh * t", Rexha prefers to style her lingerie with restrained pieces such as jeans and her familiar leather jacket.
For the singer, it's less about showing off her body and more about how she feels in her clothes. “I just want things that are good for me,” she says. "I have to be comfortable in it, you know?"
And it is clear that Rexha feels at home in these new pieces. The collection's Technicolor campaign shows the singer in boudoir style in a retro bedroom that's hazy with mood lighting. Apparently the hot shots were inspired by her honest journey to body positivity.
Rexha openly says that self-love has not always been easy for her. "I think I was really hard on myself for a long time," she shares. "I never thought I was good enough."

All of that changed when she learned to accept her body for what it is. When it comes to advice for others who are on a similar journey to total self-love, Rexha says her top tip is to stop the negative self-talk before they even start. “Be nice to yourself,” she says. "Tell yourself beautiful things."
But the singer also notes that each unique process has its own ups and downs, so take it slow and celebrate progress where you find it. Oh - and don't let anyone judge your trip, although Rexha notes that she is sometimes her own fiercest critic.
"I'm going to say, 'Ugh, I have more cellulite on my leg' and I'll say, 'Damn, well, I hate my legs now,'" she says. “Then I think, 'You know what? I love myself with cellulite. ‘If I want to change it, I'll slowly make changes and do things to make me feel better, but I'll do it for myself."
I think it's high time we all channeled some of Rexha's confidence this summer. Their capsule collection is exclusively available on the Adore Me website, with sizes in XS-4X for apparel and 30A-46DDD for bras. Prices start at just $ 49.95, meaning every lingerie wearer can find something they love, for a perfect fit and price.
The collection also includes the nearly sold-out Alyshia Unlined, a Pride-themed balconette bra that you'll want to rock all year round. Adore Me even donates 100 percent of the net proceeds from the sale of the Alyshia to the Ali Forney Center, a New York City-based non-profit organization that aims to protect LGBTQ youth from homelessness.
