Bellator 266 salaries: Yoel Romero leads disclosed payouts despite promotional debut loss

Bellator 266 is on the books and while Phil Davis was the winning half of the main event, he did not receive the highest disclosed payout according to the event sponsor.
While Davis (23-6 MMA, 10-3 BMMA) pocketed a flat salary of $ 100,000 for his three-round split decision, his opponent Yoel Romero (13-6 MMA, 0-1 BMMA) earned $ 150,000 in defeat. The fight marked Romero's commercial debut with Bellator and his first fight since he left the UFC in 2020.
MMA Junkie received a full list of Bellator 266 payouts from California State Athletic Commission (CSAC) executive director Andy Foster on Wednesday. The amounts include win and show purses but not discretionary bonuses.
Bellator 266 took place at the SAP Center in San Jose, California on Saturday. The main card aired on Showtime after the preliminary rounds on MMA Junkie.
