Ben Roethlisberger and the Pittsburgh Steelers are perfect on Christmas Day

For Pittsburgh Steelers fans, a matchup between the New Orleans Saints and Minnesota Vikings Christmas Day is like getting coal in your stocking. But I suppose it's better than nothing - like the NFL Steelers Nation did on Thanksgiving.
Christmas Day games are only an occasional part of the NFL schedule. The league has generally only scheduled games on Christmas Day when the holiday falls on a Saturday or, of course, Thursday, Sunday or Monday. Today's game is only the second time in the history of the league that a game has been played on Friday, Christmas Day.
Touchdown Wire has compiled a list of all the games played on Christmas Day. Since the league played regular season games during the holidays more than 30 years ago, the Steelers have played two consecutive Christmas games, in which Pittsburgh won 2-0 in these competitions.

The Steelers defeated their rival Ravens (31:27) and took the AFC North title. Ben Roethlisberger threw for 279 yards and three points but was picked up twice. When Le'Veon Bell ran back, he dropped 122 yards to the ground and found Paydirt twice - once in a hurry, once received.

From the first three points to the last seven, the Steelers dominated the Texans in every facet of the game. The defense notched seven sacks, forcing three fiddles en route to a Steelers 34-6 win and a playoff farewell in the first round.
