Bernie Sanders said he was treated warmerly by President Joe Biden's campaign team than Hillary Clinton's.
Vermont Senator Gloria Berger told CNN on Sunday that Biden's team made him feel “very welcome” when Sanders ran against him in the 2020 presidential election, according to a clip of the interview re-released by Mediaite.
He said Biden reached out to him to speak and they had "very useful conversations and friendly conversations".
Berger pointed out that this was unlike the Clinton campaign when they were opponents in 2016, and Sanders agreed.
"I was tolerated," replied Sanders.
He added: "Of course you wanted my support."
