If you thought you knew where things were going better, call Saul and the final season of the Breaking Bad prequel will toss all bets.
"The mystery at the start of the show was who Saul Goodman is." Bob Odenkirk said where the acclaimed AMC series has been and is going. "We met this Jimmy McGill character, we got to know many sides of him and saw how he developed into Saul," added the man who plays McGill and his even more slicky alter ego.

"He saw the stakes of this choice this year," said Odenkirk of the fifth season of the series, created by Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould. "He sees that it is life or death, that choice played the way he played it."
"Now the mystery is who Kim is?"
Together with Gould and co-star Rhea Seehorn, who portrays the increasingly steel and surprising Kim Wexle, Odenkirk spoke of Deadline during the virtual Contenders Television event today. Since its debut in early 2015, BCS has drawn audiences deeper and deeper, as McGill has become increasingly unfortunate as the legal fixer of the Albuquerque drug underworld we first met at Breaking Bad.
At his side, Seehorns was often more perfectionist and Wexler ramrod by his side professionally and personally from the start. Last season revealed a completely different Kim in a masterly performance.
"I feel happy that I didn't see this as a huge bow of this mask," said Seehorn on the blackboard about the new sides of her character, especially in the later, explosive episodes of the fifth season, which ended on April 20 " It was for me to fill out the puzzle and take the parts that are included in these brilliant scripts that not only speak but also speak, "added Odenkirk's, threading Wexler's backstory and her tendency to clear up clutter McGill / Goodman.
"I don't know where we're going, but I'm very happy that I was able to play it honestly step by step," said Seehorn.
"We have a lot of ideas about where Jimmy and Kim are going," Gould indicated. "There are some ideas I'm looking forward to, but it's also very sad where that leads to."
Better Call Saul also plays Jonathan Banks, Patrick Fabian, Michael Mando, Tony Dalton and Giancarlo Esposito. The series is produced by Gould, Gilligan, Mark Johnson, Melissa Bernstein and Thomas Schnauz. The series, produced by Sony Pictures Television, has a sixth season with 13 episodes that is slated to go into production later this year. The broadcast is planned for 2021.
