Bianca Pagdanganan and Lauren Stephenson punch their tickets to U.S. Women’s Open

NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA. - Bianca Pagdanganan banged the 72nd hole on the KPMG Women 's PGA to make her first top 10 on the LPGA on her big debut. The performance in her first major actually earned Pagdanganan a place in her second major, the 75th US Women's Open in December.
Meanwhile, Lauren Stephenson was screwing the last three holes when she asked Aronimink to hit her ticket too. Both players ended in a tie in ninth place at par 280. The players had to end up in the top 10 and tie to get into the field in Houston. This year's US Women's Open will take place from December 10th to 13th on the Champions Golf Course.
Mina Harigae was on track to join them until a bogey on 18th put her in 13th place.

"It was amazing," said Pagdanganan. "I honestly try to aim high, of course, but I feel like I exceed my own expectations every time I play."
This is Stephenson's second top 10 result of his career and the best result in a major.
Pagdanganan, 22, made $ 83,765 for her efforts, more than four times what she made for the week.
The LPGA rookie played in the finals alongside seven-time main winner Inbee Park. Two years ago, when playing in the women's amateur Asia Pacific, Pagdanganan from the Philippines was playing for the first time when she went to her hotel one afternoon. Park was on the driving range.
"All the girls said, 'Oh my god it's Inbee Park! "Pagdanganan recalled.
"And then I get to the first tee (today) and I'm playing with Inbee Park, which I just saw on the driving range. I can't really explain how I feel."
