Billie Eilish Slammed for Allegedly Saying ‘Ch*nk,’ Mocking Black and Asian Accents

Billie Eilish has come under fire for allegedly saying "ch * nk" and using a mock Asian accent in a series of clips posted on TikTok this week.

The accusation: TikTok user @lcxvy put together the undated clips on Monday and labeled the allegedly problematic areas.
In one of them you can apparently hear Eilish say the word "ch * nk".
Another shows how the 19-year-old singer speaks incomprehensibly and with a mock Asian accent.
User @lcxvy also added a clip of Eilish's brother Finneas allegedly asking her to "speak to a Blaccent".

What people are saying: As of this writing, the TikTok video - which was also reposted on Twitter - has received nearly a million views and mixed reactions from users.
Some accused Eilish of being racist and asked for an apology.
Others defended the singer, claiming she was only 14 years old in the clips put together, wondering if it was a tic from her Tourettes syndrome.
Meanwhile, others pointed out the clips lacked context and urged Eilish to look into the allegations.

The Big Picture: The allegation is one of several stitches that Eilish is currently facing on social media.
The singer has been criticized for allegedly dating a "racist" and "homophobic" man, actor Matthew Tyler Vorce, 29.
She is also at the center of queerbaiting allegations after she wrote "I love girls" in the caption of a recently posted Instagram photo.
