Bills fans put billboard down road from Patriots’ Gillette Stadium
The Buffalo Bills and #BillsMafia are in their fame. They haven't had time to celebrate an AFC East championship since 1995 and they revel.
And they won a FOX competition for the best football fans. The award was a billboard and could be placed in a location of your choice.
So, of course, #BillsMafia decided to rub it into their New England Patriots' brothers, and decided to see the billboard apiece from Gillette Stadium, home of the ousted AFC East champions who had seen an eleven year postseason run.
The Boston Globe reminded fans of Bills that their geography is a little different. The billboard isn't exactly in the Patriots' hometown.
The billboard on Route 1 near Gillette Stadium says “The best fans of football” and photos of fans. It has quickly become a tourist destination for Buffalo Diehards.
But it's important to note: despite the initial fan voting, the billboard is actually in Wrentham, not Foxborough.
