Lively worked hard at the gym and recently shared a snap on Instagram showing her working up a sweat while joking about a spotlight situation.
Lively, who had her third child in 2019, was open to the desire to tone up. In January, she shared a photo of The Rhythm Section on Instagram and wrote, “My abs look so good here. Dear abs, I miss us. "
Lively shared on her Instagram stories last year that she was struggling to find clothes that would fit her for an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon after having their third daughter.
"It doesn't send a great message to women if their bodies don't match what brands have to offer," she said. “It's alienating and confusing. And I wish I were as confident then as I am now, looking back a year later. This body gave me a baby. And produced all of that baby's food supply. What a wonderful miracle. But instead of feeling proud, I felt insecure. Quite simply because I didn't fit into clothes. How silly that is in retrospect. "
Oh, and Lively isn't a fan of the gym. In fact, she previously said to Extra, "I hate the gym." Instead, she said, “I'm finding other ways to be active. I dance, I ride my bike, I hike. I go out and train in nature. I find ways to be physical where you also have an experience because I'm very experience-oriented. "
She seems to have changed her view of the gym at least a little, as she works out with Saladino regularly, up to five or six days a week per Well + Good. She also has at least a day of complete rest, he said. Your go-to moves? Jump squats, medicine ball throws, kettlebell deadlifts, 30-minute aqua aerobics in the pool, pushups and planks.
