Boeing Slashes 10-Year Demand Forecast (but Maybe Not Enough)
Earlier this week, Boeing (NYSE: BA) released the highly anticipated 2020 version of its long-term market forecast. In its 2020 commercial market outlook, Boeing said airlines would need approximately 18,350 new commercial jets over the next decade. For the entire forecast period of 20 years, Boeing expects the industry to return to its historical growth trend and require more than 43,000 new aircraft.
