Boris Johnson woos investors at London summit
The government said Monday it had attracted nearly £ 10 billion ($ 13.72 billion) from global investors to fund its green regeneration agenda.
The event marks the UK's biggest push to attract investors as it seeks cash and partners to advance in the international race for competitive advantage in green technology.
The summit comes at a time when Britain's green credentials are in the spotlight, two weeks ahead of hosting the UN climate summit, COP26, where Johnson will seek to negotiate a complex international deal to stem rising global temperatures.
