Britney Spears' friend Sam Asghari recently had the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
Asghari, 26, shared his diagnosis on Instagram Wednesday, saying that he has since recovered and has very few symptoms.
"2020 has been a crazy / twisted year for all of us. I recently tested positive for Covid-19. I was lucky enough to get the news before I got there and infected my loved ones (friends, family, significant other)," said the model wrote on Instagram. "I quickly isolated myself and started my quarantine process on my own. ??"
Asghari said he owed his "healthy lifestyle" to having cold symptoms for only one day. The model said he continued to exercise and eat clean while he was in quarantine.

"This is where my healthy lifestyle helped a lot. I only had cold symptoms one day on the second day after I tested positive, but 24 hours later I was completely normal," he continued. "I continued my training and had a clean diet at home as usual. 10 days later I was no longer contagious and tested negative twice. The doctors had to end the quarantine and return to my loved ones. ??"
Asghari added that "outside of Covid" he also spends a lot of time reflecting on the importance of health and writes that he "will continue to do my best and inspire you to lead a healthy lifestyle too."
In his story, Asghari spoke more about his experience with the contagious respiratory virus.

"My healthy lifestyle and strong immune system helped me a lot because I only had cold symptoms for one day," he said, and later added, "I understand there have been healthy people who understood and made it difficult for them . "
"I understand, but my suggestion is to take vitamins, stay hydrated, have a good diet, and boost your immune system," he said. "Because it will help you. Not just with COVID, but with everything."
