Bruce Arians: We’re in the dance, I’ve won a Super Bowl as a wild card
The Buccaneers will likely have to win three street games in January to play a Super Bowl at their home stadium, but coach Bruce Arians says it can.
Arians pointed out after the Buccaneers took a wild card spot in Detroit on Saturday that he was the coach of the Steelers in 2005 when they became the last team to win the Super Bowl in the playoffs.
"Anything can happen," said Arians. "I was a 6-seed, went all the way to the Super Bowl and won it here in this stadium, so anything is possible." Now that we're in the dance we need to see what next week brings and where we're going. "
The Bucs will be either the 5 or 6 seeds in the NFC this season, and to get to the Super Bowl you would likely have to beat three NFC division winners on the road. Arians believes his team is up to the task.
