California Cold Case Cops Arrest Suspect in 1996 Slaying of Teen Gladys Arellano

Authorities announced a major hiatus in a nearly 25-year investigation into a cold case. In 1996, the body of 17-year-old Gladys Arellano was found at the bottom of a canyon in the rugged Topanga Canyon area of ​​Southern California. Police were collecting DNA evidence at the time, but with no suspects the case went cold. Fast forward to November 2019 when a man was arrested for domestic violence. Cops got a DNA sample from him and it turned out to be a match.
