Camila Cabello is grateful.
On Thursday, the 24-year-old Cinderella actress, who announced her breakup with Shawn Mendes, 23, last week took to Instagram to share all the things she's grateful for on this Thanksgiving holiday - starting with the many fluffy friends in their life!
"I have a lot to thank, but I'm especially grateful that I have a whole group of people trying to hang myself up while I meditate?" surrounded by three of their dogs. The golden brown dog on her lap licking her leg in the video is Tarzan, the puppy she and Mendes adopted together last year.

"Happy thanksgiving day everyone! I am very grateful to all of you here who send me love, listen to my music and support me on this creative journey through life!" Cabello wrote and addressed her fans. “Although I haven't met many of you, you show me love, kindness and support and I'll send it back to you all in a moment! After all, we all live in this crazy, confusing, magical world at the same time and I think we are all connected and never really alone. "
Then she shared one final positive message in honor of the holiday: "Thankful to my human family and friends and my plant and animal family and friends ❤️ I send you so much love and gratitude today ❤️."

"We appreciate your support from the start and in the future ❤️❤️❤️ Camila and Shawn," the statement concluded.

The longtime friends began dating in 2019, often sharing very public moments from PDA, whether it be romantic walks around their neighborhood or intimate videos posted on social media. They spent the COVID-19 lockdown together in Miami.
A source told PEOPLE this week's edition that the pop stars' relationship flourished amid the deadline break during the pandemic, but when things picked up, the romance between the two fizzled out.
“They had this intense relationship last year and spent months together during the Miami lockdown. They both seemed very happy and looked like they enjoyed taking a break from work, ”the source said.

"Things are different now, however," the insider continued. "It's more back to normal life. They have careers that take them in different directions. They spent every day together and now haven't spent time together."

Mendes previously told Audacy Check In how much time together during the quarantine strengthened their bond and said that he and his then-girlfriend were "so lucky" because they "could only relax and not work at all."
"We went on bike rides around Miami and it felt just beautiful," he said. "It really brought us together."
In the time since then, however, both of their schedules have improved; Cabello, who celebrated her first starring role in Cinderella in September, is preparing for the release of her third studio album, Familia, while Mendes will begin his international Wonder: The World Tour in March.
