Cardi B continues to be the political prophet of our time.
During the televised Vice Presidential Debate between Democratic Candidate Senator Kamala Harris and current Vice President Mike Pence, the "WAP" rapper shared a series of videos on Instagram showing her live reactions to the highly anticipated showdown between the two candidates .
Throughout the evening, Harris and Pence discussed a variety of topics including how to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic, the Black Lives Matter movement and the verdict on the Breonna Taylor case, health status and vacant seat on the Supreme Court.
Like the rest of us who tuned in, Cardi was quick to get annoyed that Pence insisted on reducing Senator Harris' speaking time. She expressed her frustration by yelling at the television.
"He has to shut up!" Cardi screams on her TV screen in one of the clips. "[The moderator] told him to be quiet and he would talk another 15 seconds!"
In another clip, Cardi criticized the moderation skills of the head of the US Washington office, Susan Page, and suggested that Harris not give Harris the same speaking time as Pence, who repeatedly spoke about the moderator and his opponent.
"Thank you, Vice President! Can you stop talking now?" Ask Cardi in another post. "Why is he still talking? That shit got me mad! Bitch, why don't you say anything? Now you have to give Kamala Harris two minutes and 30 seconds because he talked two minutes and 30 seconds. Every time Kamala Harris talks, she stop on time - [she] is fucked by the mediator! "
At some point Cardi gets up from her seat and continues to scream: "No, no!" upset by the vice president's replies.
In the last clip shared, Cardi calls out Pence's evasive reaction as to whether he would like a new Supreme Court Justice Roe v. Wade confirmed or not.
"She asked you about ... abortion laws. Why are you talking about O-fucking-sama bin Laden?" asks Cardi. The rapper went on to tag her last post with the statement, "I wish I was there." So do we, Cardi.
