Cardi B is no stranger to tattoos - and big ones too. The rapper has about nine different pieces of ink, ranging from her sister's name on her inner biceps to a new butterfly mural on her back.
Today, the rapper revealed a significant improvement on one of her most famous pieces of ink: a multi-colored peacock print that hugs her thigh, hip, and back. Cardi went to Instagram to share the updated art courtesy of Jamie Schene (the same artist responsible for her new back piece). “After ten years, I redesigned my peacock tattoo. I spent hours this week getting pain, ”she wrote on Instagram.
Schene added tons of new details, including improved feathers, flowers, and butterflies. He also said that the update took seven days. "I redesigned Cardis Pfau! Thank you for the trust, @iamcardib. Your strength and determination is inspiring," he wrote. "Being tattooed 7 days in a row is no joke."
No kidding, but it's worth it when you consider how great the rapper's new artwork looks. This before and after makes us improve our own tattoos - and proves that ink, no matter how permanent, can always develop and change with you.
