Everyone is talking about Celine Dion after sharing her latest health update.
In May, the 53-year-old Grammy-winning singer announced she was returning to Las Vegas with a new show at The Theater at Resorts World. Celine's new residence was to include a total of 21 performances and run from November to February. To kick off Celine's new show, the opening night should be dedicated to raising funds for COVID-19 aid. Now the "My Heart Will Go On" singer is putting these plans on hold.
On Tuesday, Celine announced in a press release posted on Instagram that while she was preparing for her new show she had "unforeseen medical symptoms" and this "forced" her to postpone production.
"Celine has experienced severe and persistent muscle spasms that prevent her from performing," the press release said. “Your medical team continues to examine and treat you. However, the symptoms she is experiencing prohibit her from attending the ongoing rehearsals for the new show.
The mother of three repeated her personal message in the caption, which read, “My heart is broken. My team and I have been working on our new show for the past eight months and I am incredibly sad not to be able to open this November.
She continued, "I feel so bad that I'm abandoning her, and I'm especially sorry for disappointing all of the fans who made their plans to come to Las Vegas." Now I have to concentrate on getting better ... I want to get through this as soon as possible. "
After seeing Celine's post, some celebrities immediately reached out to her in the comments section wishing her all the best on her recovery. "I send you love and healing vibrations," wrote Katy Perry. "Get well soon. Hope to see you in May ❤️ xxx," added The Great British Bake Off finalist Laura Adlington. "All that matters is you get better. X?" Commented singer Betta Lemme.
Fans of the "Because You Loved Me" singer also sent her their best and asked her to focus on herself now. “Oh my god, Celine, please take care! Don't feel bad about canceling! We want to see you healthy, please, I love you so much ❤️ ”wrote one person. “Take a break and take good care of yourself. We love you and can't wait for your recovery, ”added another. “Get well soon, Celine. Always with Tranquillity. Your health is the most important thing. Everything else can wait. ?? “, commented a follower.
Celine is currently going on a world tour for her current album Courage in March 2022, which also suffered several delays. We hope to see her on stage again when she feels able.
