The Celtics have received much praise in the past few weeks since the league announced their return to the game schedule.
ESPN's Jalen Rose actually predicted that the Cs would win the Eastern Conference and reach the 2020 NBA final. Former Celtics Center and 2008 NBA champion Kendrick Perkins also believes the Celtics will represent East in the final. Colin Cowherd of FOX Sports 1 called Boston "a competitor" and called Cs striker Jayson Tatum "the second best player in the East".
The latest national voice to give the Celtics props came from ESPN NBA analyst Paul Pierce. The Celtics legend described his former team's starting eleven as the best in the league during Friday night's ESPN show announcing the return schedule.

Pierce has a strong argument here.
The Celtics are the only team with three players who score an average of 20 or more points per game. Jayson Tatum leads the team with 23.6 points per game, with Kemba Walker and Jaylen Brown scoring an average of more than 20 points. Another starter, Gordon Hayward, is not far behind with 17.3 points per game. Boston's bank rating was mixed throughout the season, and the team needed offensive contributions from Enes Kanter, Romeo Langford, Brad Wanamaker, Marcus Smart and other role players to get a deep playoff run. But if the starters are on the ground, the Cs can beat any opponent.
In order for the Celtics in the East to be able to earn as much seed as possible, they must have a good record of the following schedule. Here is the full Celtics schedule for the eight seeding games. Every single match is played at NBC Sports Boston.
