Celtics Walker, Langford, Fall OUT vs Brooklyn Nets Christmas Day game

The Boston Celtics will play the Brooklyn Nets in a rematch of their 113-89 preseason on December 18, with the tip set at 5pm ET.
The Nets are enjoying the early fruits of their two best players, who have had time to recover from serious injuries over the past year. Point guard Kyrie Irving received shoulder surgery and striker Kevin Durant returned from an Achilles tendon injury that forced the former Golden State Warrior to miss the entire 2019-20 NBA season. The Celtics are in comparatively poor health but are hoping to use the early part of the 2020-21 season to prepare their own injured players.
These players are of course starting point guards Kemba Walker and wing Romeo Langford. The UConn product rehabilitates his often aching knee and the Indiana native is working back from surgery to repair a torn tendon.
They are joined by the two-way center Tacko Fall, which will also take part on Christmas Day with eye irritation.
As for the nets, the team has a clean top-to-bottom health record that, along with the Celtics, holds a 1-0 record, each beating their opponent at the start of the season.
Boston will miss Walker's strike against this charged Brooklyn offense by a wide margin, and the luxury of being able to use Langford for the wing chord will be challenging for the Celtics as well.
However, if Boston can replay part of the linked game demonstrated against the Milwaukee Bucks on December 23, there is a real chance the Atlantic Division rivals will get their first L of the season despite the absence of that trio.
