Charlamagne, the god, kept his beef up with LaKeith Stanfield, saying that he would like to "go online and play the victim" on an episode of The Breakfast Club.
The radio host responded to LaKeith's Instagram call in which the actor called Charlamagne a "hoe" for questioning his co-star Daniel Kaluuya of Judas & The Black Messiah. Charlamagne sparked a long-standing feud with the actor when he suggested Stanfield was particularly well suited to playing an informant in the film. Kaluuya closed the host and said, "We didn't," but the implication was already made. In a new episode of his radio show, Charlamagne accused the actor of being overly sensitive.
"This is another example of LaKeith being able to make it, but he can't stand it for commenting that The Breakfast Club and other black outlets are anti-black, negative and reinforce negative stereotypes about black people, they were back in 2019, ”said Charlamagne. "I gave him the 'donkey of the day' for it, pointing out the number of times he went on the platforms of these whites and reinforced negative stereotypes of the blacks themselves. After that, I left it alone. LaKeith made a whole response video, he did a diss song, he put my face on the cover of the song and had me with his sambo lips. I didn't answer that, but I gave him a nudge during the interview with Daniel. I owed him that and that was easy. "
"He makes it seem like I'm always coming up to him. But he does that all the time. When he made comments about Kamala's hair last year and got a backlash, he went online and said he could say what he wanted and no one will force him not to say what he wants, "he continued." All right, but if you have the energy to say what you want, don't be a victim when people say something back. "
