Charles Barkley to Bo Nix after Auburn QB's comments about SEC officials favoring Alabama: 'Don't poke the bear'
Auburn graduate Charles Barkley was a guest on Wednesday with Paul Finebaum on the Paul Finebaum Show.
The couple spoke on a range of topics in a 13-minute interview.
Finebaum's final question to Barkley was about the comments Auburn quarterback Bo Nix made earlier this week on The Next Round about the SEC's favoritism for Alabama.
"Just a couple of those controversial calls included in that game are sure to raise some questions unless you're a fan of Alabama. But that's only part of the game," Nix said of the Alabama win against Arkansas on Saturday. "That won't change no matter what. But it was definitely a good game."
Nix later added of the office, "I think you can watch the game and anyone with an open mind will think something is different but it is what it is," said Nix. "It's kind of always been like that. But that's part of the game."

You don't even play in the game. Don't get stuck in the bear. So listen, I like Bo Nix. It is unfortunate that he was injured. But I was a little disappointed that he - the only time you stab the bear is when you're, "I have a say in the game. And sitting over there on the sidelines, you have no say in the game. So, hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh the
Barkley said he will be present at the Iron Bowl on Saturday. Barkley will air TNT's "The Match" Friday, then take a private jet from Las Vegas to Auburn, Alabama.
"I said to TNT, 'The only way I can do this match - I can't miss the Iron Bowl,'" said Barkley. "And they said, 'What if we can get you a private jet?' I said, 'Hey, keep it waiting at the airport.' As soon as 'The Match' is over, I'll hop on that plane and take my bum to Auburn, Alabama. "
