Cheryl Burke burst into tears when she told fans she had tested positive for COVID-19.
On Sunday September 26, the 37-year-old Dancing With the Stars pro, who is paired with Cody Rigsby for the recently launched Season 30, was featured in footage she posted on Instagram shortly after receiving the positive diagnosis , emotional.
"I have really bad news," said Cheryl. “I feel worse and worse. The PCR test came back and it was positive. And I feel so bad for Cody - I feel like I'm going to let him down. Be honest, and it's so overwhelming because it's Sunday and the show is tomorrow. "
Cheryl, who stated she was fully vaccinated, said she just hope she "didn't spread it," adding, "I can't believe that happened." She had also posted footage of herself driving to the hospital to take the test.
