This is where Corvairs go to die.
The Chevy Corvair was once dubbed the car that's "unsafe at any speed," but today there aren't many Corvairs on the road to test that theory. This unique and equally not very well thought out rear engine, rear wheel drive car is a model whose presence is fading from the streets, and even car shows - the last time I saw a Corvair in person was at auction in 2019 where are they because everyone went? Apparently there's a Corvair graveyard called The Corvair Ranch where you'll probably see most that's ever been in one place, but those cars don't move at any speed today.

Chevy Corvair devotee John Goulden is based in Gettysburg, PA and began collecting these cars in 1975. Jeff Stonesifer, the current owner, now oversees over 600 Chevy Corvairs at Corvair Ranch. The lot is crammed with sedans, station wagons, coupes, as well as loadside and rampside pickups, Greenbrier vans, and ultra-vans (yes, those are Corvairs too) on the ranch. In addition to the cars, there are several tractor-trailers, crammed with parts of all kinds.
It's not just about rotting classic Chevy Corvairs, the ranch also offers services like restoration work, machining, and conversions. You can even buy a t-shirt from their website if you feel like it.
