Chris Noth Reacts to Rumor That He’s Not Returning as Mr. Big in Sex and the City Reboot

Mr. Big could make a big comeback.
After media reports that Chris Noth, who played Carrie's other half on Sex and the City, wouldn't be returning to restart the show, the actor suggests otherwise.
Noth responded sly to fans on Instagram when they lamented his absence on the upcoming HBO Max series. And just like that ...
One wrote, "Why on earth don't you play my beloved Mr. Big? My heart is [broken hearted emoji]." The Law & Order star mysteriously replied, "Everything is changing - including announcements in the rags."
Another social media user asked him to "don't make us sad again" and "please reconsider," which prompted Noth to bring up a February 18 story that claimed he would not attend the Participate in resuscitation.
Noth, 66, wrote back with a winking face: "Well, if page six says it ... it must be true."
Kim Cattrall's DGAF Quotes
Fans now expect him to announce in the coming days or weeks that he is actually on-screen with Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis. Each of the leading actresses earns a million US dollars for each of the 10 episodes, which also makes it a potentially lucrative appearance for Noth.
His character, Mr. Big, appeared on the show from 1998 to 2004 and returned for both films that portrayed his much-anticipated marriage to the show's protagonist, Carrie Bradshaw, portrayed by Parker.

Of course, one noticeably absent face in And Just Like That ... will be that of Kim Cattrall, who played the sex-loving Samantha Jones.
On February 10, Casey Bloys, HBO's chief content officer, teased Max about how her journalistic character would be addressed in the revival.
"Just like in real life, people come into your life, people go," he explained. "Friendships fade and new friendships begin. I think all of this is very indicative of the real phases, the actual phases of life."
Bloys added, "You're trying to tell an honest story about a woman in her fifties in New York. So it should all feel a little organic and the friends you have when you're 30 you may not have, when you are 50. "
Kim Cattrall, Sex and the City The movie
Last month, Cattrall seemed to hint at the reason for her decision to pass on the new opportunity when rumors of her feud with the rest of the cast resurfaced. The actress liked a fan’s contribution with the reading: "I absolutely love Sex and the City and although I am sad that Samantha will not return, I applaud doing what is best for you and think this is a great example of this, how to put yourself first. "
Production is expected to start in the spring.
