Just days after debuting a choppy version of “The Rachel”, Chrissy Teigen has turned things upside down with hip-length blonde extensions. On Friday, the star shared a photo on Instagram with a whole team of stylists, makeup artists and hair experts who were involved in creating her new vacation look. The blended balayage brought out a slew of warm tones - from cinnamon to honey gold - for a bright and shiny style that feels perfect for a California winter.
After showing off a new haircut a week ago, we didn't expect a drastic change to happen anytime soon, but Teigen surprised us all with the help of her hairdresser Irinel de León and hair extension expert Priscilla Valles who creates temporary, seamlessly blended long Styles for everyone from Khloe Kardashian to Hailey Bieber.
Super long hair seems to be having a big moment right now. In the past few months, Katy Perry, Jennifer Lopez, Megan Thee Stallion, and Kaia Gerber have all shown new looks that would make a mermaid jealous. As much as wearing hip-grazing hair sounds like commitment, wigs and hair extensions are just as versatile.
Who knows how long batter the extra long hair will rock. She could keep it for a while or go back to her springy, feathery layers from last week. That's the best thing about hair extensions: you can have a short rag one day, hip-length glam waves the next, and get back to light air-drying asap.
