CNN’s Chris Cuomo Ignores Developments In Brother’s Scandal During Tuesday Night Broadcast
On Tuesday's Cuomo Prime Time, host Chris Cuomo ignored the developing scandal surrounding his brother, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo.
He began his broadcast by congratulating Olympic gymnast Simone Biles on the bronze medal she won in the balance beam competition, and then switched to talking about the Covid-19 pandemic.

"I'm Chris Cuomo, welcome to prime time," he said. "We're concentrating on Covid here, especially until we get a grip on the Delta variant - and right now, as you know, it's getting worse."
For the most part during the broadcast, Cuomo stuck to this topic and how states like Vermont and Florida are weathering the pandemic. Guests at the program included Vermont Health Commissioner Mark Levine and Miami Beach Mayor Dan Gelber.
New York attorney general Letitia James released a report today that concluded that Governor Andrew Cuomo “sexually molested several women” in violation of federal and state law and also opposed at least one former employee who stood up for himself Behavior expressed.
The report also found that Chris Cuomo advised his brother on how to respond to the allegations against him that emerged earlier this year.
Andrew Cuomo continues to deny the allegations against him. "I want you to know directly from me that I have never touched anyone inappropriately or made inappropriate sexual advances," he said on a videotape two hours after James released the results of her investigation report.
"I'm 63 years old," added the elder Cuomo. “I've spent my entire adult life in public. I'm just not. "
While President Joe Biden called for Cuomo's resignation today, he has so far refused, raising the possibility that the State Assembly could initiate impeachment proceedings against him.
